About Tom Wnuczek
Tom was born and raised in the USA, after losing a bet with his girlfriend at the age of 20 he attended his first Bikram class.
He quickly fell in love with the discipline of the yoga as it complimented his career as an Alternative Physiotherapist.
Tom practiced twice a day for 2 years before he decided to attend Teacher Training in Los Angeles in Spring 2004. One year later Tom competed in the regional Bikram companionship for the state of Hawaii where he won first place, he then went on to compete in the world championship in Los Angeles, California. Tom has since served on the teacher training staff several times as well as attended Judges and coaching clinics.
Tom opened his first Bikram collage school in the beautiful island of Maui, Hawaii, he was soon asked by Bikram Choudhury to head to Thailand to oversee the Bikram School in Phuket, Thailand.
Bikram yoga complements his training in alternative physio. Tom is regarded as one of the best Pain specializes on the island. His practice can offer treatments for joint pains, muscle problems, back ache, whiplash, sports injuries, post-surgery, rehabilitation and pre-natal therapies.
He believes in a hands-on, effective and holistic approach to each individual. By using multiple approaches to treating pain including Bikram Yoga therapy, chiropractic techniques, western Physiotherapy, Chinese medicine and dry needling.
Tom has worked on the likes of Deepak Chopra, Bikram Choudhury, NBA stars “Dr. J” Julius Irving and Steve Kerr.
